FarmLink Spitfire Wheat Update August 2014

FarmLink Spitfire Wheat Update

Summary

“The Spitfire Wheat in paddock 5a was observed on the 15th August and is at GS 33-34. The crop appears healthy despite some recent frequent frost events. The paddock has had an application of nitrogen and at present is under no disease or pest pressure. In season rainfall has been adequate and a further 23mm of rain on the 17/8/14 is setting the crop up for an average yield or better scenario” Tony Pratt – 18th August 2014.
